Head to the beautiful Roman countryside and learn to make a delicious and authentic Roman meal. Located in the city of Zagarolo, situated in between two valleys, learn how to prepare a traditional Italian Sunday lunch from start to finish with your host. Then sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor with your host and some homemade wine before heading back to the big city.
Head to the beautiful Roman countryside meet your hostess in the Zagarolo stationshe will pick you up and drive you to her home.
Learn to prepare many original recipes. In Italy, each city has its own recipes that vary depending on the season and here you will do the same: in the summertime, you will prepare sorbets and ice cream, while in winter sfogliatelle and stuffed pasta. Claudia's kitchen is appreciated everywhere and prestigious newspapers (The Guardian and The Wall Street Journal) wrote about her. In Italy, the "Italian Sunday lunch" is considered very important and you will have the opportunity to be part of this traditional moment. Dress up the chef's apron and start to prepare delicious dishes: vegetable fritters or savory strudel, Bruschette with vegetables and cheese; the pasta will be made by hand with flour from a local mill and eggs taken by the farmer, lasagne or ravioli or fettuccine, with their sauce and then a typical second course, the rolls or saltimbocca and for vegetarians a special dish. Finally, a cake that will be a parfait or a tart made together with your friends. After your practical lessons, you can sip home-made wine, enjoy the fantastic view and eat in the romantic living room or in the garden.
The hostess will bring you to the station for your return back to Rome.
