Begin your journey in Kilkenny City, one of Ireland’s best-preserved medieval towns, beautifully set along the River Nore. Enjoy approximately 2.5 hours of free time to explore its cobbled streets, cafés, and historic landmarks. An optional guided walking tour is included, offering insight into Kilkenny’s Norman history and craft traditions. You may also choose to visit Kilkenny Castle during your free time (entrance not included).

Leaving Kilkenny behind, travel into the wild beauty of the Wicklow Mountains, often called the “Garden of Ireland.” Watch the scenery change from rolling farmland to dramatic glacial valleys as you drive through mountain passes and stop for photos at scenic viewpoints, including Wicklow Gap (weather permitting), a landscape made famous by films such as Braveheart.

Spend approximately 2 hours 15 minutes exploring the area, including an optional guided short walking tour led by your guide.
