Description

Start your tour at the famous Lincoln Memorial, the most visited memorial in Washington, D.C.. This large, temple-style monument was designed by Henry Bacon and honors President Abraham Lincoln.

Next, walk with your guide to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, designed by Maya Lin. The black stone wall is covered with thousands of names and is one of the most emotional places in the country.

Continue to the Korean War Veterans Memorial, where statues of soldiers stand together as if on patrol. Then visit the World War II Memorial, built to honor Americans who served in World War II.

On the way, you’ll see the South Lawn of the White House and a distant view of the United States Capitol, great spots for photos.

Your tour ends at the Washington Monument, a tall stone tower built to honor George Washington, the first U.S. president.

After the guided tour, you’ll receive your timed ticket to enter the Washington Monument. Go inside on your own, take the elevator to the top, and enjoy wide views of the city.
