Description

Kayak, hike, explore and learn all on one Kauai adventure. Begin your day on the Wailua River. Your guide will instruct you as your paddle through the emerald waters, teaching you the history of the Hawaiians who arrived 1500 years ago. Hear their legends and explore the flora and fauna around you.

Enjoy a view of the staggering and beautiful cliff lines of the Wailua, and then take in Kamokila village, a replica of an ancient Hawaiian village. Paddle through the sacred area to the North Fork and through the rainforest before hopping out.

A moderate hike will lead you deep into the jungle and to a 120 foot waterfall. Spend some time in paradise and enjoy lunch and time with your guide.

This is approximately a 6 hour trip suitable for adventurers from ages 5 to 75. Participants should be comfortable in the water, enjoy hiking and be in good physical condition. Expect about 4 miles of paddling and just over one mile of hiking. Trail conditions can be muddy and slippery at times. Must be able to walk 1.5 miles & kayak 60-90 minutes.
