Visit one of the few fully intact working sugar cane plantations in the River Parishes. Understand the site's historical significance as you discover the plantation's 2,500 acres, built in the 1830s.

Discover the history of this family-owned plantation as one of the tour guides gives you a detailed tour of the home and farm, and shares the history of the many people who lived here.
After the tour, feel free to take a self-guided tour of numerous outbuildings, including original slave cabins, a detached kitchen, blacksmith’s shop, carpenter’s shed, and schoolhouse.

This plantation, and its sister property Felicity Plantation, was the location for several films, notably "12 Years a Slave", “All The King's Men”, "The Skeleton Key" and "Queen Sugar".
