Description
Discover three must-sees near Barcelona in a single day.
The first stop is Montserrat, a majestic mountain that's home to the famous Benedictine monastery. During the visit, you can admire its impressive basilica, where the Virgin of Montserrat, known as La Moreneta, is located, and enjoy the panoramic views offered by the natural surroundings.
After this spiritual and scenic immersion, the tour continues to the Cavas Codorníu, located in the Penedès region. In this iconic place, we'll take a guided tour of the historic modernist wineries, where you'll discover the traditional process of making cava and participate in a tasting. The tour also includes a little train ride through the underground galleries.
It'll be a unique sensory experience that will let you appreciate the area's rich wine culture.
The last stop of the day is Sitges, a charming coastal town known for its bohemian atmosphere, modernist architecture, and golden beaches. Here, after a brief guided tour, you'll have free time to stroll through the old town, visit the church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla, relax by the sea, or enjoy local cuisine on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.
At the end of the afternoon, you'll head back to Barcelona with the feeling of having experienced a varied and enriching day, where you'll have enjoyed nature, culture, history, wine, and the sea all in one day.
