Description

Embark on a scenic boat trip along the Sussex Heritage Coast. Depart from Newhaven and venture across Seaford Bay, passing Seaford Head before reaching the Coastguard Cottages at Cuckmere Haven.

Continue along the coast towards Birling Gap and the Belle Toute Lighthouse. Head south to catch a glimpse of the famous Beachy Head Lighthouse, located approximately seven miles east of Newhaven Port.

Venture back towards the southwest to see the Seven Sisters in all their splendor, stopping to take plenty of photos en route. In the summer months, keep an eye out for Harbour Porpoise and Grey seals. If you're lucky, you might even spot Bottlenose and Common Dolphins or, in winter, humpback whales.

Cruise west to Newhaven and be back alongside before you know it.

  • Sightings of marine life such as Harbour Porpoise, Grey Seals, Bottlenose and Common Dolphins, and Humpback Whales are possible but not guaranteed. It is extremely rare to see some of these but if they're in the bay, we'll hopefully spot them.
