Description

Begin your day with pickup from select San Francisco hotels. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head north to Muir Woods National Monument, arriving in the morning when the forest is often quieter.

Spend about one hour exploring the peaceful trails beneath the ancient coastal redwoods. Walk at your own pace, enjoy the fresh forest air, and take photos among some of the tallest trees in the world.

After leaving Muir Woods, continue into Sonoma Valley for your first wine tasting at a welcoming, family-owned winery. Learn about the winery’s history, discover how its wines are made, and taste a selection of locally produced wines.

Next, stop at historic Sonoma Plaza for lunch and free time. Explore the local shops, choose from the many nearby restaurants, or upgrade your tour to include a three-course lunch with wine pairings.

After lunch, travel to Napa Valley for your second winery visit. Take a guided tour of the winery, learn more about the winemaking process, and enjoy another tasting surrounded by the vineyards and rolling hills of Napa.

Your third and final winery stop takes place back in Sonoma Valley. Taste more Northern California wines and enjoy a unique olive oil tasting offered by the winery.

Throughout the day, your guide will share stories about Napa and Sonoma, explain the region’s winemaking history, and teach you how to properly taste and appreciate wine.

On the return trip to San Francisco, stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for photos before being dropped off at your hotel.

- Classic Ceasar Salad - romaine hearts with the Bistro’s home-made Caesar Dressing

Main Course - paired with Pinot Noir (choose one)
- Grilled Salmon - over sautéed vegetables, drizzled with balsamic reduction
- Rigatoni Bolognese* -braised ground beef and pork in a house-made marinara sauce
- Fusilli pasta* - tossed arugula- almond pesto and parmesan cheese
- Chicken Scaloppini - with mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, and caper butter sauce
- Cheeseburger -grilled ½ lb Angus chuck patty with jack cheese and French Fries
