Description
Step into the cobblestone streets of Rome for a magical treasure hunt made just for kids — a lighthearted journey through history, art, and imagination. Beginning in the heart of St. Peter’s Square, children are greeted by the vast embrace of Bernini’s colonnade and the towering Egyptian obelisk. Here, beneath the gaze of saints and the dome of the great basilica, the first clue is whispered into the air like a secret waiting to be heard.
From there, young adventurers set off down the grand Via della Conciliazione, walking the same path once traveled by pilgrims and popes. Along the way, they keep their eyes peeled for hidden messages and mysterious signs — maybe even a glimmer of a golden key left behind by a mischievous sprite from the past.
The pace slows as the group ducks into the quieter, charming Borgo Pio. The narrow street, lined with colorful shutters and ivy-clad walls, feels like a secret passageway. Here, the hunt takes a playful turn, and perhaps a surprise clue is tucked inside a friendly gelato shop — a sweet reward for sharp eyes and curious minds.
Soon, the ancient round fortress of Castel Sant’Angelo rises ahead. Though the hunt doesn't take them inside, the children gather outside, captivated by the story of the castle’s secret passages and the angel that watches over it. They trace their fingers along the old stone walls and imagine knights, emperors, and hidden treasures behind them.
The final stretch leads across the Ponte Sant’Angelo, one of the most beautiful bridges in Rome, lined with statues of angels carved in marble. Here, the river sparkles below, and the last clues bring the children to the end of their journey. With each step, they get closer to solving the final riddle — and uncovering a small treasure that marks their success as official explorers of the Eternal City.
This treasure hunt is more than just a game — it’s a playful introduction to Rome’s rich past, where every landmark holds a story and every child becomes a hero in their own Roman adventure.
