Skip the lines on a private tour through Vatican City. Visit the Sistine Chapel, the many Vatican Museums, and take in magnificent views over Saint Peter's. Learn about the history of the city and its centuries-old art collections from an expert guide, who can customize the tour to your interests.
Start by gazing over the dome of Saint Peter’s Basilica before following your guide through the Pinecone Courtyard, named after the huge bronze sculpture that sits on a staircase designed by Michelangelo. Continue on to the ornate Gallery of the Candelabra, Gallery of the Maps and the Raphael Rooms.
Finish your tour at the Sistine Chapel. Visitors must keep silent while inside, so your guide will give you information before you go in. You can stay here until closing and admire the gigantic Renaissance frescoes by Michelangelo and Botticelli that adorn the walls and ceiling. At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy skip-the-line access to St. Peter's Basilica, excluding Wednesdays and special events.

  • Important: From January 12 to March 31, 2026, conservation work will be carried out on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment (Giudizio Universale). The Sistine Chapel will remain open to visitors; however, the fresco will be temporarily not visible due to scaffolding. We thank you for your understanding during this important preservation project.
