Experience one of Rome's most iconic rituals in the proper, authentic, and stress-free way.
From 2026, access to the area closest to the Trevi Fountain will be regulated by an official entry system. The price of the ticket included is two euros. The pool area is subject to quotas and managed by the Municipality of Rome: without dedicated access, entry may not be permitted, especially during peak hours.
Unlike many experiences organized with large groups of even 20 or 50 participants, this activity is designed to offer a more relaxed and curated experience: each time slot has a limited number of a maximum of 6 accompanied guests. Please read the description carefully before booking, so that you can choose an experience that truly meets your expectations.
With this experience, you can access the dedicated area in front of the fountain without having to look for or buy a ticket on the spot, avoiding waiting and uncertainty.
You will be accompanied by our staff and with the help of an exclusive audio guide to download onto your smartphone that will reveal the history of the fountain, its hidden symbols, and lesser-known curiosities, guiding you step by step in performing the ritual according to Roman tradition.
Designed in the 18th century by the architect Nicola Salvi, the Trevi Fountain marks the end point of the ancient Aqua Virgo Aqueduct, built in 19 BC, and is today one of the most fascinating and photographed places in the world.
According to tradition, throwing a coin into the fountain guarantees a return to Rome. The gesture must be performed with your right hand over your left shoulder, with your back to the fountain.
During the experience, you will receive two gold-plated Roman imperial coins (handcrafted Made in Italy reproductions), inspired by the figures of Augustus, Tiberius, Claudius, Nero, Trajan, Caracalla, Constantine, and Gallienus.
