Description

Marvel at the iconic Sistine Chapel and its renowned masterpieces by Michelangelo, including the awe-inspiring Last Judgment, as you immerse yourself in the captivating narratives behind these exquisite artworks. The adventure continues as you explore the treasures housed within St. Peter’s Basilica, from the poignant Pietà by Michelangelo to the grandiose bronze altar crafted by Bernini.

Optimize your time with our Reserved Entrance, granting you direct access to the Vatican Museums, ensuring every moment of your valuable vacation is dedicated to exploration. Accompanied by a knowledgeable, English-speaking art historian, equipped with headsets for seamless communication, you'll be captivated as the rich history and significance of each masterpiece come to life throughout the tour.

Please note that St. Peter’s Basilica will not be accessible if the Sistine Chapel First Entry and Vatican Museums option is selected.

Good to know before you go
  • St. Peter’s Basilica will not be included in the "Sistine Chapel First Entry & Vatican Museums" option.
  • All visitors must pass through airport-style security; during the high season this can take up to 30 minutes despite our priority entrance.
  • St Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we can offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums; While we aim to tell our guests ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases refunds or discounts are unavailable.
  • On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible until 1:00 PM.
