WHAT WE'LL DO
Welcome to Rome! If you want to have a perfect awakening, the ideal is to take a nice morning run through the alleys of Imperial Rome.
Starting from Bar La Licata in the Rione Monti district, we will train at your pace through the wonders of the most beautiful city in the world.
Rome has a vast historic centre, full of alleys where it is easy to get lost... unless you run with a local runner!
We will reach the main highlights of the city and, during the running tour, we will be able to give you the best advice on where and how to spend your stay in Rome.
Run with us early in the morning... and then, during the day, retrace the itinerary with your family! This way you will go without fail!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Choose your preferred departure time. You don’t need to bring anything but your comfiest running shoes and suitable clothing. Local runner, a qualified jog leader, will wait you outside the BAR LA LICATA in the Rione Monti District - Via dei Serpenti 165 ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/6AQ7dWNw1Vpqgs9w5 ). Your route will be set according to the weather and your abilities and interests. Usually it covers around 10 km (6 miles). The pace is set by you, so you’ll be able to complete the running tour. Take a gentle jog up to some of the seven roman hills, and pause to admire the panoramic city views as your local buddy runner will points out the landmarks. Glimpse famous attractions like Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and some roman hills. Make regular stops for photos of the sights and to learn about their history.

Good to know before you go
  • 1. It is required that each Runner participating in the run be in a healthy condition according to the type of training. We do not take responsibility.
  • 2. Rome offers routes with various types of roads: asphalt, shingles, stones, dirty roads, stairs. The runner agrees that he may find paths not perfectly suited to the running activity.
  • 3. In the event of your delay, the staff will wait up to 15 minutes to be considered extra at the time of the normal course.
  • 4. Participants under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by an adult who will also be their supervisor.
  • 5. A physical resistance to running for at least 1 hour is required.
  • 6. The Runner is aware that the roads are open to vehicular traffic: they must therefore comply with the relevant Italian Road Code.
