Description

The Orchestra of I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma, composed of professors from the most prestigious Italian conservatories, specializes in the interpretation of classical-opera music.
In the 2026 Musical Season, it presents "Vivaldi's Four Seasons": four concertos for violin and strings that represent scenes of nature in music, each inspired by a different season of the year.
The program is also enriched by other important concerts of sacred music for strings.
An orchestral ensemble composed of a string quintet and harpsichord will perform this cycle of concerts at the prestigious Basilica of San Nicola in Carcere, a medieval church in the heart of Rome.
