You can also make the most of your experience by selecting the option of an additional entry ticket to the Castle Gandolfo and St. Peter's Basilica which you can visit at your own pace without the guide.

  • You must cover your shoulder and your knees during this tour
  • There is no access to St. Peter's Basilica on tours after 2:30 PM, on Wednesdays, and on closing days set by the Vatican.

  • In peak season, due to the high number of visitors, it might take extra time to go through the security check and to collect the Vatican headsets which are compulsory.
  • Please note that during Easter and Christmas time the fast access to the Basilica can't be guaranteed because St. Peter's may be closed due to religious functions
