Good to know before you go

Modest attire is required for St. Peter’s Basilica, meaning shoulders and knees must be covered for all participants; no hats or flip flops please.
The final portion of the dome climb (320 steps) must be done by stairs, even with elevator access to the first level.
The Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings due to the Papal Audience. During state visits or special religious events, parts of St. Peter's Basilica may be closed unexpectedly and without much notice, in which case we will reach out to assist you in rescheduling.
This tour does not included the Vatican Museums, unless the Combo option upgrade is selected.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can begin the tour on time.
