Description
Travel back to the II century AD and explore the ancient villa of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Be surrounded by the influences of his life and travels as you explore his home accompanied by an archaeologist guide.
Start your journey at the Pecile, Hadrian's porch, with a view of his private garden and pool. Admire the panoramic views of the Roman countryside before arriving at the first pavilion: Hadrian's bath. Here, admire the incredible ancient architecture while your guide explains the mechanics.
Continue to the extraordinary Canopus and Serapaeum, a dining room with an artificial lake ending with a semi-dome. See the ancient channels supplied with water from the nearby aqueduct.
Next, step into the Hall of the Philosophers, a room where guests waited to be announced to the Emperor. Then, turn a corner and see the incredible Maritime Theater, an isolated ring-like Domus surrounded by water.
Last stop: the annular corridor overlooking the Tablinum. Here, stand in the meeting room used by the Emperor. Enhance your experience as you explore with 3D renditions of each pavilion.
