Description
Experience the richness of Italian art and aristocratic history with a single ticket granting access to both Palazzo Barberini and Galleria Corsini, the two historic seats of the Gallerie Nazionali di Arte Antica in Rome.
This combo ticket allows you to explore two magnificent palaces, located in different parts of the city, each offering a unique atmosphere and an extraordinary collection of masterpieces from the 13th to the 18th century.
Step into one of the most impressive Baroque palaces in Rome. Commissioned by the powerful Barberini family in the 17th century, the palace was designed by renowned architects Carlo Maderno, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Francesco Borromini.
As you walk through its grand halls, discover Bernini’s monumental staircase, Borromini’s elegant spiral staircase, lavish state rooms and papal apartments, and Pietro da Cortona’s breathtaking ceiling fresco The Triumph of Divine Providence.
The art collection includes some of the most celebrated masterpieces in European history, such as Caravaggio’s Judith Beheading Holofernes, Raphael’s La Fornarina, Guido Reni’s Beatrice Cenci, Hans Holbein’s portrait of Henry VIII, and Filippo Lippi’s Annunciation.
Palazzo Barberini offers a spectacular journey through Renaissance and Baroque art in a setting of extraordinary architectural beauty.
Located in the charming Trastevere district, Galleria Corsini offers a completely different but equally fascinating experience. Housed inside an elegant 18th-century palace, it is the only Roman art gallery that preserves the original layout of a private noble collection.
Admire artworks displayed as they were in the 1700s, creating the atmosphere of an aristocratic residence rather than a traditional museum. Highlights include Caravaggio’s powerful Saint John the Baptist, works by Rubens, Van Dyck, and Murillo, Renaissance and Baroque paintings in richly decorated rooms, and the historic Corsini family apartments.
The gallery’s intimate setting allows visitors to appreciate the artworks in a quieter and more personal environment.
