Together with a professional local chef, you’ll learn how to prepare authentic Italian Spritz and fresh handmade pasta completely from scratch in a lively restaurant atmosphere in the heart of Rome.
Your experience begins with the preparation of the iconic Italian Spritz. Learn how to mix the perfect Aperol Spritz using the traditional Italian method while discovering the history and culture behind one of Italy’s most loved aperitivo cocktails. Non-alcoholic options are also available.
After your Spritz, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and begin the pasta-making workshop. At your own individual workstation, complete with wooden board, rolling pin, and cloth apron, you’ll prepare fresh pasta dough entirely by hand alongside your chef. No pasta machines, no pre-made dough, and no shortcuts, just authentic traditional techniques passed down through generations.
During the class, you’ll create two different pasta shapes from scratch: classic Fettuccine and traditional Maltagliati. Your chef will work beside you step by step, showing you how to mix, knead, roll, and shape fresh pasta using simple ingredients and real Italian methods that you can easily recreate anywhere in the world.
Once the class is complete, sit down and enjoy the dishes you prepared together in a relaxed Roman restaurant setting.
