Description
This immersive culinary experience offers a unique opportunity to participate in the art of pasta making, guided by a local expert. From the moment you enter the kitchen, you will be fascinated by the simplicity and complexity of combining flour, water and eggs to create a culinary masterpiece.
The hostess will show you the types of flour used for the dough and explain their different characteristics, give you her personal formula for calculating the amount of flour to use for each egg, and you will learn the processes involved between gluten and protein and how to knead correctly.
But the journey does not end there. Delving into the world of pasta, you will learn how to give it color using different foods.
You will learn the art of rolling and cutting pasta, prepare hand-cut fettuccine but also fusilli or farfalle, You will make Ravioli and Tortelloni filled pasta.
To finish the hands-on experience will teach you how to use the traditional pasta machine where you will make Tonnarelli.
After you finish your work in the kitchen you will sit around the table to savor the fruits of your labor
The first course is ravioli and tortellini with a white sauce recipe from the hostess.
The second course is tonnarelli pasta with homemade pesto sauce.
The third course is fettuccine, the ones you cut by hand, with a sauce that can be Ragù or Amatriciana or, if you are vegetarian, Country sauce or Arrabbiata.
All this accompanied by the specially chosen local wine.
To close the meal a delicious homemade dessert.
You will enjoy the local culture as you connect with an Italian family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can share stories and experiences.
