Start your journey by meeting your guide in Rome and enjoy a comfortable transfer to our “Wood Houses” cooking venue—an open-air countryside kitchen surrounded by nature, just outside the city center. Far from the tourist crowds, this location sets the perfect mood for your culinary adventure.
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of wine and introduced to your local chef, a licensed Mastro Pizzaiolo and Pasta Maker, who will guide you through every step of the experience.
First, we’ll dive into pizza making. Learn how to prepare pizza dough from scratch, knead it by hand, and choose your favorite toppings. Then bake your pizza in a real wood-fired oven and taste the results of your own creation, fresh and bubbling with flavor.
Next, we’ll explore the world of Italian pasta. You’ll learn to make three different types of dough: traditional egg pasta, water-based pasta, and pizza dough. Shape the dough into different formats—tagliatelle, fusilli, farfalle—and cook two seasonal sauces to pair with your handmade pasta. The entire process is relaxed, joyful, and filled with stories and secrets from Italian kitchen culture.
Throughout the class, you’ll enjoy unlimited white and red wine, sourced locally, and always served with a smile.
To close the experience, enjoy a tasting of our homemade tiramisù, crafted with love and tradition, followed by a chilled shot of Limoncello, Italy’s most iconic digestivo.
