This tour of the Colosseum is designed for curious children and families who want to experience an adventure through history. An expert guide, using simple and engaging language, accompanies families among the ancient stones of the world's most famous amphitheater, telling stories of gladiators, emperors, and the spectacular games that enlivened Rome two thousand years ago.
During the visit, children and teenagers will discover parts of the Colosseum as they have seen them in movies and school books – but this time for real! They will walk along the corridors where gladiators once passed, look down on the arena from above, and imagine the audience cheering, the trumpets sounding, and the emperor raising his thumb to decide the fate of the fighters.
The guide will lead them to discover the hidden secrets of the monument: the hoists that lifted the cages of the beasts, the trapdoors from which the gladiators emerged, and the graffiti still visible on the stones, etched by the hands of ancient spectators. And it is precisely among these curious details that the children will notice something special: small doors hidden within the walls of the Colosseum. These are the little doors for the cats that live among the ancient stones, and with a little luck, during the visit you might see one suddenly pop out, to the amazement and delight of the little ones.
The route then continues through the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where the daily life of Ancient Rome comes to life: here, children can stroll among the columns of temples dedicated to the gods, discover where Caesar gave his speeches and admire the remains of the imperial houses overlooking the Eternal City. The guide will bring to life the voices of the merchants, the scents of the spices and the rustle of the white togas along the marble streets.

The little ones will hear the legend of Titus, the young emperor who had the Colosseum built to give it to the people after years of war; and that of Flavia, the little girl who one day managed to sneak into the arena to see her favorite gladiator, hiding among the cloaks of Roman ladies.
