If you have little time available, you can book the Colosseum tour in English accompanied by our guide, who will entertain you by telling you stories about naval battles, bloody gladiator fights, and animal hunts. You can also choose to visit at your leisure, without having to follow a group, by booking the option of visiting the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum with an audio guide (Multilingual storytelling in English, Chinese, German, French, Italian, and Spanish with 44 points of interest), which you can conveniently download onto your smartphone. Following your Colosseum tour, you'll take a small break before returning to the meeting point for an in-depth experience in one of the most exciting and visited places in Rome, the Catacombs on the Ancient Appian Way. With the option transfer included, your driver will meet you at the same place where the Colosseum tour started. After a short drive, arriving at the Appian Way, you will descend into a complex network of underground tunnels, among the longest in the world, where you can admire ancient frescoes, inscription-rich crypts, small mausoleums, sarcophagi, and tombs. You'll also discover the burial sites of famous people such as popes, martyrs, and, according to legends, even some apostles. After the tour, your driver will drop you off at the Colosseum.
