Built between 212 and 217 AD, during the reigns of Septimius Severus and Caracalla, the Baths of Caracalla could accommodate up to 1,500 people at any one time. They were more than just a place to bathe as the vast complex also featured a library, gym and public gardens.

Admire the best-preserved baths in Rome and a masterpiece of Roman architecture. See parts of the heating system and fragments of mosaic floors and discover imposing vaulted rooms and porticoes.
