Armed with skip-the-line tickets, follow your guide to the awe-inspiring Colosseum. Here, learn all about its gruesome and grisly past, including the bloody gladiatorial combats that took place inside. You then continue to learn about Ancient Rome, as your guide brings back to life the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Take a break between visits to grab lunch at your leisure and keep your energy going for the afternoon's wonders. Once rested, visit the Vatican Museums at 3:00 pm.
