Description

The guided electric bike tour in German allows you to discover Rome in a relaxed, safe, and varied way. The meeting point is at Via dei Soldati 27, just a few minutes' walk from Piazza Navona. There, your German-speaking guide will greet you. After adjusting the e-bikes, a brief introduction and a safety briefing, each guest receives a bottle of mineral water for the tour.

At the beginning, you will ride through quiet streets and pedestrianized alleys to familiarize yourself with the e-bike. Then it's off to the first historical highlights of the city. You will see the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, where your guide will vividly explain the history of ancient Rome. The route continues to the Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome, which offers beautiful views of the city.

Thanks to the electric assistance of the e-bikes, these hills in particular can be conquered effortlessly – a great advantage in a city like Rome and also ideal for families. The route follows, as far as possible, low-traffic streets, side streets, alleys, and parks to ensure a safe and enjoyable riding experience.

As you continue, you will discover the Jewish Ghetto and the Theater of Marcellus, two lesser-known but historically significant places. Another stop is the Circus Maximus, once the largest racecourse in Ancient Rome.

The tour is also suitable for families with children aged 10 and above, provided the children can ride a bicycle safely. The pace is moderate, with regular stops for explanations, photos, and short breaks. The small group size leaves sufficient time for questions and personal attention.
