Description

Depart from Rome on a journey to discover three holy sites in Umbria. A comfortable private minivan will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Rome and take you to Assisi, the birthplace of San Francesco. You will visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Porziuncola, a place of prayer. Accompanied by your private local guide, you will explore the medieval streets, the Basilica of Saint Francis, and the Basilica of Saint Claire. Finally, accompanied by your tour assistant, you will make your way to the church that houses the body of the Blessed Carlo Acutis. Since admission is free, entry will be possible only if waiting times allow, depending on the number of visitors at the time. After the tour, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch. The tour will continue to Roccaporena, the birthplace of Saint Rita, where you will discover sites connected to her life, including her birthplace. Finally, you will arrive in Cascia, where you can visit the Basilica that houses her body and the Monastery dedicated to the “Saint of the Impossible.”
