Description

Depart from Rome on a journey to discover three sacred sites in Umbria. A comfortable minivan will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Rome to take you to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. You will visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Porziuncola, a place of prayer. You will explore the medieval streets, the Basilica of Saint Francis and the Basilica of Saint Clare. Finally, together with your tour assistant, you will go to the church that houses the body of the beatified Carlo Acutis. Since admission is free, you will only be able to enter if the waiting times allow it, depending on the number of visitors at the time. After the tour, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch. The tour will continue to Roccaporena, the birthplace of Saint Rita, where you will discover places associated with her life, including her birthplace. Finally, you will reach Cascia, where you can visit the Basilica that houses her body and the Monastery dedicated to the "Saint of the Impossible."
