Description

Depart Rome on a journey to discover three sacred sites in Umbria. A comfortable minivan will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Rome and take you to Assisi, the birthplace of San Francesco. You will visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Porziuncola, a place of prayer. You will explore the medieval streets, the Basilica of St. Francis, and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. Finally, together with your tour assistant, you will go to the church that houses the body of the beatified Carlo Acutis. Since admission is free, entry will only be possible if waiting times allow it, depending on the number of visitors at the time. After the tour, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch. The tour will continue to Roccaporena, the birthplace of Saint Rita, and you will discover the places connected to her life, including her birthplace. Finally, you will reach Cascia, where you can visit the basilica that houses her body and the monastery dedicated to the "Saint of the Impossible".
