Description
Embark on a fascinating exploration of Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana, two remarkable UNESCO sites. Witness the splendor of Villa Adriana, an ancient Roman marvel, while immersing yourself in the Renaissance elegance of Villa d'Este. Enjoy the convenience and comfort of a Mercedes vehicle as you travel between these iconic destinations. Our certified tour guide will provide you with in-depth knowledge and insights, ensuring an enriching experience throughout the tour.
The private tour starts at 8 a.m. with the driver who will pick you up at your hotel or any other place of your convenience. Then, you will be driven to Tivoli, a small beautiful town 45 minutes east of Rome where the two villas are located. You will enjoy this short transfer through the Roman countryside in a comfortable Mercedes van, air-conditioned and provided with Wi-Fi and bottled water.
Once you arrive in Tivoli, the first spot will be Villa Adriana. You will visit for a couple of hours with your private tour guide the still breathtaking remains of the Imperial residence built by the Roman emperor Hadrian.
Afterward, there will be time for a coffee break in a local cafeteria. So, you will be guided inside the Renaissance villa built by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este and today known as Tivoli Gardens. An astonishing place with sloping terraces, hanging gardens, and hundreds of fountains!
Once you have visited the two UNESCO sites, you will have time to spend a nice lunch in a local restaurant before leaving for your hotel to drop off.
