Step into the world of Augustan Rome and discover one of the greatest masterpieces of Roman art: the Ara Pacis Augustae, the monumental Altar of Augustan Peace.

Commissioned by the Roman Senate in 13 BC to celebrate Augustus' return from Gaul and Spain and dedicated in 9 BC, the Ara Pacis tells a fascinating story of power, family, religion and the new imperial order through its extraordinary marble reliefs.

With your open ticket, you have complete flexibility to plan your visit: there is no mandatory entry time, and you can enter the museum at any time during opening hours on your booked date.

Your experience also includes our exclusive digital audio guide, entirely developed and structured by us to lead you step by step through the monument.
