IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to the passing of Pope Francis and the upcoming Conclave:

-The Sistine Chapel will be closed to all visitors starting April 28, 2025, until further notice. Your ticket will still provide full access to the Vatican Museums.

-Starting April 22, 2025, St. Peter’s Basilica will be closed to group visits, if the Basilica appears available in the booking calendar, it is because access may still be possible; however, please note that sudden closures may occur without prior notice.

-Until further notice, St. Peter’s Basilica will remain open only for individual visitors; group access is temporarily suspended.

Good to know before you go
  • The skip-the-line ticket still includes going through the security check. This process may take up to approximately 30 minutes.
  • For institutional reasons, St. Peter's Basilica may be closed without notice, in which case the tour will only take place in the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Therefore, only a partial refund will be granted.
  • To enter the Vatican Museums and Basilica, shoulders and legs must be covered up to the knees.
  • People with reduced mobility will not be able to participate in the tour.
  • Disabled people who are able to walk independently are entitled to a reduced rate based on the percentage of disability. The disability must be communicated at the time of booking. Reservations at the standard rate cannot be changed to a reduced rate on the day of the tour.
  • Strollers for children are not recommended due to the presence of stairs.
  • The following cannot be brought into the Vatican Museums: Bulky luggage, food or drink, weapons or sharp or dangerous objects.
