Description

Discover Nero's Golden House (the Domus Aurea) archeological restoration thanks to an expert guide, new technology (VR OCULUS), and video narration. These new technologies will be combined with the guided tour of the Domus Aurea’s site. Nero's Golden House (Domus Aurea) tour provides visual insights into how Emperor Nero's golden palace looked 2,000 years ago. The final result will be a true time travel, a sort of cognitive and emotional short circuit, something really innovative in the new technologies applied to the cultural heritage

Good to know before you go

24 hours before the start time you will receive the entry ticket by email or WhatsApp. Please provide us with an email address or a WhatsApp number.
On the date of the visit go to the Domus Aurea entrance (via di serapide) and provide the entry ticket to the staff you find at the entrance. The staff will let you meet the guide inside.
Inside the Domus the temperature is around 10 degrees. Appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended
