- From Paris, take the train to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche". Be sure to purchase a Metro-Train-RER ticket (€2.50 for a standard fare or €1.25 for a reduced fare)
- Baby strollers may be refused at the palace entrance and baby carriers must not have a metallic structure
- During peak times, the palace can be crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance
