Begin your journey in the King’s Grand Apartment, a suite of opulent rooms adorned with intricate ceiling frescoes and royal symbolism. Admire the artistry of the Throne Room and learn how each space reflects the power and personality of its royal occupants.

Continue to the Queen’s Apartment, the elegant chambers where French queens lived in luxury. These meticulously restored rooms highlight the refined taste and exquisite design of the 17th century.

  • The tour requires moderate walking and stairs. Please consider your mobility concerns before you book the tour.
  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
  • Please consider that the gardens are under seasonal maintenance from November to March.
  • Please note that The Water Theater is available from April 1st to October 31st, 2025.
  • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
  • Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
  • Some areas of the palace may occasionally be closed by the Versailles administration due to maintenance, but your visit will still include the highlights of the estate.
