Description

Meet your local guide near Notre-Dame Cathedral, who will welcome you and escort you to the entrance. Before going inside, your guide will provide an introduction outside the cathedral, explaining its history, architecture, and recent restoration.

You will then enter Notre-Dame, where you’ll have approximately 20 minutes of free time to explore the interior at your own pace and fully enjoy this iconic monument. After the visit, your guide will wait for you outside and the walking tour will continue.

The second part of this 2-hour experience is a guided walk through one of the most beautiful and historic areas of Paris. Discover the origins of the city while strolling around the Île de la Cité and nearby neighborhoods. Along the way, you will see Saint-Michel, explore the lively Latin Quarter, pass by the historic Conciergerie, and enjoy the charm of Place Dauphine.

The tour ends at the iconic Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris.

✨ Optional upgrade: choose the option that includes a ticket to Sainte-Chapelle, allowing you to visit this extraordinary chapel independently at the end of the tour and admire its world-famous stained glass windows at your own pace.

This tour is ideal for travelers who want to combine a guided experience with free exploration, discovering where Paris was born and visiting the beautifully restored Notre-Dame Cathedral after the fire, all with the help of a passionate local guide.

Good to know before you go
  • Please note that on public holidays, waiting times to enter the cathedral may be longer than usual.
  • Appropriate attire is required for visiting a religious site. Shoulders must be covered, and shorts and skirts must be long enough to cover the knees. Cathedral staff may refuse entry to anyone not dressed appropriately.
  • The entrance to Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris is free and open to all. The services offered are independent of access to the interior of the building.
  • On certain religious holidays, visits inside the cathedral will not be allowed.
  • The visit to Notre Dame will be conducted from the outside. The guide will not enter the cathedral with the group, but will provide all explanations externally. After the introduction, guests will be invited to enter and explore the interior independently and at their own pace. The guide will then meet the group again at the exit approximately 20 minutes later.
