Take a welcome break from all the European art and visit The Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, which focuses on non-European cultures.

Experience seeing all-important cultural artifacts and artwork from the civilizations of the Americas, Africa, Oceania, and Asia through a series of videos and tactile exhibitions.

Explore new worlds through the curving and mysterious design of the galleries. Be sure to visit some of the permanent collections, but leave time also to explore the wild and beautiful garden outside, especially the highly beautiful green wall, designed by Patrick Blanc.

Once onboard, you’ll enjoy a 1-hour cruise down the Seine River, admiring the UNESCO-indexed riverbanks and Parisian landmarks consisting of the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museum, Notre-Dame de Paris, and a number of monumental bridges.

  • Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 AM–7:00 PM. Thursdays until 10:00 PM. Closed Mondays (except during spring school holidays)
  • Annual closures: May 1 and December 25
  • Entrance is free on the first Sunday of every month
  • Free admission for visitors under 18, and for EU residents under 26, with valid ID
  • Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time.
  • Please note that this attraction closes at 5:30 PM on 24th December and 31st December.
  • The Seine River Cruise Company is Bateaux Parisiens (At the foot of the Eiffel Tower).
  • During peak holiday periods, waiting times may be longer.
  • Your cruise tickets are valid for one month.
