This unique VR tour, which takes place outdoors, will immerse you in different eras, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
Accompanied by a real-life guide, you'll stroll through the square courtyard, the Napoleon III courtyard, and the Tuileries garden.

Equipped with a virtual reality headset, you'll discover the medieval fortress that was the Louvre in its early days, you'll be immersed in the atmosphere of the neighborhood that was located at the foot of the Louvre during the Renaissance, and you'll even witness a landmark event of the French Revolution.
Century after century, you'll see the Louvre and its neighborhood transform, the Tuileries Palace appear, and history unfold before your eyes.

Combining real and virtual, this tour will offer returns to the present time to allow you to situate yourself in space and compare the buildings present today with those that have disappeared.

This VR experience will forever change your view of one of the Parisian buildings that has undergone the most transformations over time.

  • This tour doesn't give you access to the collections inside the Louvre Museum.
  • If you wear prescription glasses, remember to bring them for the visit (small frames recommended).
  • No last-minute participants will be accepted on-site without a reservation.
  • If a minimum of 2 participants are not registered for this tour, it can be canceled no later than 12 hours before the reserved time.
  • This tour isn't suitable for kids under 8.
