Description

Your experience begins at the France Tourisme Agency, just a 3-minute walk from the Louvre. Here you’ll meet your guide, receive your pre-booked timed ticket, and hear a short introduction to the history of the museum and the former royal palace. Walking together to the group entrance lane, you’ll avoid the ticket-purchase lines (security checks still apply) and step straight into the heart of the Louvre.

Inside, your guide will lead you along a thoughtfully designed route that balances the museum’s must-see icons with key context, without trying to cover every room. You’ll start in the collections of Greek and Roman antiquities, where the celebrated Venus de Milo and other classical sculptures illustrate the origins of Western ideals of beauty and proportion.
