Description

Travel in the comfort of a fully air-conditioned bus from Paris city center to Versailles, home of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette until the French Revolution in 1789. Your host will be on board the bus and ready to answer any questions you may have. 

Be transported back to the Golden Age of France with a trip to the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and emblem of French royalty and extravagance. Marvel at the breathtaking royal chateau, transformed by the ‘Sun King’ Louis XIV in the 1660s from a hunting lodge. 

Your audio guide, available in 11 languages, will enable you to discover the State apartments of the King and Queen, the Royal Chapel and Hall of Mirrors, the epitome of French opulence; three hundred and fifty-seven mirrors line the gold-adorned hall and crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling.

Depending on the day and option booked, you will also be able to see either the Musical Garden or Fountain Show. After your visit, you will be taken back to Paris by air-conditioned bus.
