Description

Discover Champagne’s hidden gems on an exclusive day trip from Paris and step into the heart of the region’s rich winemaking heritage. With only 8 guests per tour, this exclusive day offers a more personal and immersive experience. It takes you beyond the big names to family-run estates, where passion and tradition have been passed down for generations.

Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in central Paris. Meet your wine expert guide and settle in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. On the way to the Champagne region, enjoy a fresh croissant while your guide shares stories about Champagne, its history, terroir, and time-honored winemaking techniques.

Once in Champagne, start your journey with a guided visit to a first boutique, either a family-run Champagne house or a Coopérative. Explore the cellars, learn about every step of the production process, and enjoy your first tasting of the day, discovering cuvées that are rarely found outside France.

Then, enjoy a scenic drive through the vineyards and stop at a beautiful viewpoint to taste a glass of Champagne. During this tasting, your guide will share insights about the grape varieties, growing conditions, and vine work, while you take time to admire the stunning Champagne landscapes.

Lunch is served either at a quality local restaurant or at a winemaker’s table, offering an authentic culinary experience. Your gourmet meal is paired with Champagne and local ratafia (when available), creating a perfect wine and food pairing in a warm and convivial setting.

In the afternoon, visit a second artisan Champagne house or cooperative to discover another approach of the Champagne production. Of course, this visit ends with another tasting, allowing you to deepen your understanding of the craftsmanship behind these exceptional wines.

At the end of the day, return to Paris with a drop-off in the center of the city (Hotel de Ville) and unforgettable memories of Champagne’s hidden treasures.
