Description
Be amazed by this sightseeing tour, where you will visit the very heart of the Big Apple. Perfect for first-time visitors to the city, as they'll get to know the essence of Manhattan.
On the Upper and Lower Manhattan sightseeing tour, we'll start our journey on 8th Avenue, passing by the Columbus Circle landmark and making our first stop at Lincoln Center, which is the designated area for the arts (where dance, folklore, painting, music, etc. are located). We'll continue our visit to the legendary Dakota building, the last place of residence of John Lennon and the site of his assassination on December 8, 1980.
We will then skirt Central Park and see the Natural History Museum and the Upper West Side neighborhood until we reach the Anglican Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the most monumental cathedral in the world. Then, on our tour, we'll cross over to 5th Avenue, see The Museum of the City of New York, Mt. Sinai Hospital, and we'll make a brief stop at the city's largest water reservoir, now called the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.
Continuing our route, we'll also see the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Plaza Hotel, Trump Tower, the world-famous Tiffany & Co. jewelry store, the Diamond District, and the world's most important stores such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Bulgari, and more. We'll take in the majestic Rockefeller Center, the famous St. Patrick's Cathedral, and the Public Library, stopping in front of the Flatiron Building, considered the city's first skyscraper.
We will then take a short walk through Washington Square Park, home to a replica of the Arc de Triomphe, New York University (NYU), and the city's most bohemian neighborhoods, such as SoHo and Greenwich Village.
We'll finish our service at approximately 1:00 pm, visiting the financial district and stopping at the famous Charging Bull, next to Battery Park, where you can board a tourist boat on your own to the fabulous Statue of Liberty.
