Standing 16 stories tall in the heart of Hudson Yards, Vessel is one of New York City's most extraordinary experiences!

Designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick and manufactured in Italy, this honeycomb-like structure features 154 intricately interconnected flights of stairs, 80 landings, and nearly 2,500 steps. Climb as high as you like, pause at any level, and take in shifting perspectives of the Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River as the city unfolds around you.

The structure's signature polished copper-clad exterior reflects light, sky, and movement differently at every angle — making it one of the most photographed spots in New York City. No two photos look the same.

Perched at the northern end of the High Line in Midtown Manhattan's West Side, Vessel sits at the center of Hudson Yards — surrounded by gardens, world-class restaurants, and over 100 shops. After your climb, don't miss Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, right next door.

  • Admission ticket is valid for 1-time entry at the time chosen on that day
  • Vessel is primarily made up of stairs. Vessel offers an elevator for those who require it for their visit. Please notify Vessel Experience Ambassadors upon arrival or in advance
  • Vessel is an outdoor activity and is open during all normal weather conditions, but Hudson Yards reserve the right to close Vessel during inclement or extreme weather, at their sole discretion. Unless they have determined to close Vessel, tickets will not be exchanged due to weather. If Vessel or a portion of Vessel closes due to severe weather conditions, Experience Ambassadors will be available to provide assistance and information
  • Visitors are required to attend in groups of 2 or more. Minimum of 2 tickets per transaction required. Tickets for children 5 and under are free, but required. Child tickets can be counted towards the 2 ticket minimum
