Description

Experience New York’s most iconic symbol of freedom with exclusive pedestal access to the Statue of Liberty, where you can explore the statue’s base and enjoy unique views of the harbor.

Your journey begins at Battery Park, where you’ll board the ferry with priority access tickets. Arrive at Liberty Island and step inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, the massive stone base beneath the monument. From here, enjoy panoramic views of New York Harbor and the city skyline, along with a unique close-up perspective of Lady Liberty herself.

Continue your visit at the Statue of Liberty Museum, where interactive exhibits reveal the fascinating story of the statue’s creation, symbolism, and lasting importance as a beacon of freedom.

After this guided tour, you are free to continue your journey independently to Ellis Island, once the entry point for millions of immigrants. There, you’ll visit the National Immigration Museum, exploring moving exhibits that share the personal stories of those who pursued the American Dream.

To enhance your experience, you can add an optional interactive audio guide directly on your smartphone. This will provide additional commentary during the ferry ride and throughout your self-guided exploration of both islands.

Good to know before you go
  • This tour is bilingual (EN&SP)
  • Please note that each option has different inclusions.
  • If you choose the option with the audio guide, we will send the smartphone download instructions to the contacts you provided approximately 24 hours before the tour. For the best experience, download the Amigo Tours app.
  • Pedestal access is included in this tour.
  • Due to the security check to go on board the ferry every client has to wait a line. This line can take until 2 hours depending on the affluence. We recommend taking a hat and suncream on summer and you can also use this time to make turns and use the toilette.
  • Please note that luggage, scooters or other bulky objects are not permitted on the ferry. We cannot be held responsible if you are denied access with any of these items.
  • Please note that the guide will accompany you throughout the entire tour, except for the museum, which you will need to visit on your own
