Description

Cover serious ground in just three days on this East Coast escape blending history, iconic landmarks, and natural spectacle—without turning it into a stress marathon. Departing from New York City, the journey moves efficiently while still giving each stop time to land.

Day 1 heads south to Philadelphia, where the country’s story comes to life at Independence National Historical Park. With Independence Hall nearby and the Liberty Bell close at hand, the stop packs real meaning into a short visit. From there, continue to Washington, D.C., where grand avenues and monuments set a new tone. An optional visit to the U.S. Capitol and National Archives offers a deeper look inside, paired with outside views of the Supreme Court and Library of Congress. Photo stops at the White House and time at the Lincoln and Vietnam Veterans Memorials wrap up the day before heading to your hotel.

Day 2 shifts scenery as you travel north toward Niagara Falls, with optional stops that break up the drive. The Corning Museum of Glass adds an artsy pause with live demonstrations, while seasonal access to Watkins Glen State Park brings waterfalls, stone bridges, and dramatic gorge views. By evening, arrive in Niagara Falls for a mandatory nighttime tour at Ram Island and Moon Island, where the American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls glow after dark. Overnight nearby.
