Description

Enjoy a date night at New York City's only museum dedicated to the past, present, and future of the moving Image. Explore captivating exhibitions, immerse yourself in the vibrant history of film and TV, play a video game or encounter art, and enjoy a relaxing evening with your special someone.

Make a souvenir of your Museum visit by recording a flipbook, and stop in the shop to purchase a copy. You can also stay to attend the evening movie screening at the museum or choose to keep the evening going at a local bar or restaurant in Astoria.

This special $50 pass includes general museum admission and drink tickets for two, two tickets for one regular same-day film screening at the Museum (subject to availability, excludes special events—please inquire at front desk upon arrival), and a coupon for 15% off the purchase of printed flipbooks (limit 2). Drink tickets may be exchanged for wine/beer or coffee/tea at Mon Amour Café in the lobby.

Friday Date Night passes are available on Fridays through August 2026 (closed July 4).

Good to know before you go
  • You may enter anytime on Friday, between 2:00–8:00 p.m. Galleries will start to be cleared for closing at 7:45 p.m.
