MoMA offers a panoramic overview of modern and contemporary art, from the innovative European painting and sculpture of the 1880s to today's film, design, and performance art. Six floors of art galleries in midtown Manhattan include highlights such as Monet's Water Lilies, Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Matisse's Dance (I), and Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans, as well as contemporary work by Elizabeth Murray, Cindy Sherman, Ai Weiwei, and many others.

  • The museum's operating hours are Sunday-Friday, 10:30 AM-5:30 PM and Saturday, 10:30 AM-7 PM. The last entry is 1 hour before closing
  • Daily film screenings and art-making labs are included with admission. Entry to MoMA PS1 is also included for up to 14 days after your MoMA visit.
  • Families and children are welcome at the museum. The museum is free for children ages 16 and under.
