The trip heads north toward the Finger Lakes region. When in season, guests can explore Watkins Glen State Park, where winding stone pathways lead through a dramatic gorge filled with waterfalls and misty rock formations. If the park is closed, the journey instead stops at the Corning Museum of Glass, home to thousands of years of glassmaking innovation and live demonstrations by skilled artisans.

The evening brings the first major highlight: Niagara Falls illuminated after dark. Colorful lights transform the rushing water into a glowing spectacle, and when scheduled, fireworks burst above the falls, adding an unforgettable moment to the night.

The following day crosses into Canada for panoramic views of Horseshoe Falls. Guests can enhance the experience with a Hornblower cruise that sails directly into the mist at the base of the falls.
