Join a licensed local guide for a 2-hour bike tour linking two of New York City's most iconic boroughs: Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. It's a relaxed, sightseeing-paced ride through landmarks, waterfront views and historic neighborhoods, with plenty of stops for photos and stories along the way.

Your tour begins at our Brooklyn shop, where our team will fit you with a classic bike or a pedal-assist e-bike (riders 16+), plus a helmet and bike bag. After a quick safety briefing, you'll set off with your guide. No cycling experience is needed: the pace is comfortable, the group stays together, and your guide handles the navigation so you can focus on the sights.

In Lower Manhattan, you'll pedal past City Hall, the seat of New York City's government, and through the lively streets of Chinatown, one of the city's oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods. Next is South Street Seaport, where cobblestone streets, historic ships and 19th-century buildings recall the days when this waterfront was the center of the city's maritime trade.

Then comes one of the tour's highlights: crossing the Manhattan Bridge. As you ride over the East River, you'll enjoy wide-open views of the Lower Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge alongside you and the busy harbor below. Your guide will pause at a safe spot so everyone can take in the view.

On the Brooklyn side, you'll arrive in DUMBO, short for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass." This former industrial neighborhood of cobblestone streets and converted warehouses is one of the most photographed spots in the city, and your guide will make sure you get the classic shot of the Manhattan Bridge framed between historic buildings.

From DUMBO, you'll roll through Brooklyn Bridge Park, a green stretch of East River waterfront with sweeping views across to Manhattan. Then it's on to Brooklyn Heights, one of New York's most charming historic districts, known for its tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved brownstones.

The grand finale is a ride across the Brooklyn Bridge itself. Completed in 1883, it was an engineering marvel in its day and remains one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Crossing it by bike, beneath its Gothic stone towers and web of steel cables, is a quintessential New York experience and an unforgettable way to end your tour.

Along the way, your guide will stop regularly for photos, questions and stories about the neighborhoods and landmarks you pass, bringing the history of both boroughs to life.

This tour is a great fit for first-time visitors who want to see a lot in a short time, as well as returning travelers and locals looking for a fresh way to experience familiar places. On a bike, you'll cover far more ground than on foot.

Tours depart daily at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Groups are capped at 15 riders to keep the experience personal; for larger groups, please contact us. Your bike or e-bike, helmet, bike bag and licensed guide are all included, so just bring your camera.
