Description

Discover Central Park on a 2.5-hour guided bike tour with a knowledgeable local guide.

Riding on a comfortable Dutch bike, you will cover more ground than on foot while enjoying the park at a relaxed pace.

Your tour starts at Columbus Circle, the official center point of New York City, before heading into the park along its scenic paths.

You ride past Sheep Meadow, one of Central Park's most beloved open lawns, and continue to the Literary Walk, lined with statues of Shakespeare and other famous writers.

The route leads to Bethesda Fountain, Central Park's most iconic landmark, featured in countless films and TV shows including Friends and Sex and the City.

Nearby, you stop at Conservatory Water, home to the storytelling statue of Hans Christian Andersen and the beloved bronze sculpture of Alice in Wonderland, where kids still climb and play today.

From there, you ride past Cleopatra's Needle, a 3,500-year-old Egyptian obelisk gifted to the United States in 1881 and the oldest man-made object in the park.

Continue through the North Woods and past the Reservoir, where the Manhattan skyline reflects on the water. Your guide will point out the Shakespeare Garden before reaching Belvedere Castle, one of the park's most photographed viewpoints.

The tour ends at Strawberry Fields, the memorial dedicated to John Lennon, one of the most meaningful stops in Central Park.

Throughout the ride, your guide shares stories about the park's history, design and its role in New York City culture. Bike options include a classic Dutch bike or an e-bike upgrade for extra comfort.
