At Oak Alley Plantation, admire the 28 majestic oak trees lining the path to the Greek Revival-style mansion. Learn about the plantation’s history from guides, explore the blacksmith shop, and visit the souvenir shop. Spend about two hours absorbing the rich history of this notable site.

Next, take a short 15-minute drive to Laura Plantation, where you will discover the stories of four Creole women who managed the plantation for over 60 years. Visit the 1840s slave quarters and learn about the origins of the "Br'er Rabbit" tales.
